The first step in booking a bridal boudoir session is to choose the right photographer. Look for a photographer who specializes in boudoir photography (cough cough MEEEE) and has experience working not only with brides, but also someone who has extensive experience working with all different body types. It’s important to find someone who makes you feel comfortable and confident, and who can guide you through the process of posing and styling. Obviously this goes for any type of session- but especially a boudoir session.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Plan ahead<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bridal boudoir sessions should be planned well in advance of your wedding day. This will allow you to schedule your session at a time that works best for you and me, and to allow plenty of time for editing and ordering prints or albums. Keep in mind our normal turnaround time is 6-8 weeks from your session date for products.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Consider colors that complement your wedding dress and accessories, and choose lingerie that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Don’t forget to include touches of your wedding like your veil or wedding shoes. If you’re not feeling those whites & ivories? No problem; let’s go with some sultry blacks. There’s no wrong answer in choosing colors. Your session doesn’t HAVE to scream bridal.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
